Marta Marco

Barcelona, Spain.
She graduated in Acting from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and began her professional career at the age of 19 in a Franco-Italian Commedia dell’arte company. Since then, she has participated in numerous theatrical productions, combining her work on stage with roles in film and television.
Her notable theater works include La Perritxola, El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche, Las chicas de Mossbank Road, and La reina de la belleza de Leenane, Bèsties, La Trena, and Malamort. Her most recent project is El barquer, directed by Julio Manrique.
She made her big-screen debut in Soldados de Salamina and has also appeared in other productions such as Mala Uva, Apache, and Mueblé. Her latest film is Sis nits d’agost, directed by Ventura Durall, which won the Gaudí Award for Best Television Film. It tells the story of a writer investigating the death of Catalan philosopher and activist Lluís Maria Xirinacs. In 2025 she premieres Mi amiga Eva, directed by Cesc Gay.
On television, she has been featured in numerous series, especially for Catalan television. Some of her most notable works include Ventdelplà, 90-60-90, Citas Barcelona, and Merlí. In 2024 she takes part in te series La última noche en Tremor for Netflix.
