After studying acting at the Beatrice Bracco Theatre Academy and the Naples Film School, he moved to Rome, where he began his television career in 2013 with a role in the series Il clan dei camorristi.

His fame came in 2014 with the role of Genny Savastano in the series Gomorra, based on the novel by Roberto Saviano. For this role, Salvatore Esposito has received numerous national awards.

After Gomorra the series, he has acted in numerous films and television series, including Lo chiamavano Jeeg Robot, Zeta, Puoi baciare lo sposo, Taxi 5 produced by Luc Besson, L’Eroe, Rosanero, and La cena perfetta.

In 2019, he had the opportunity to act and be one of the main protagonists in the fourth season of Fargo, the international series created by the Coen brothers.

In 2020, he published his first novel, Lo sciamano, an esoteric and mysterious thriller starring profiler Christian Costa, followed by Eclissi di sangue set in Galicia, in 2022, and in 2024 Le streghe di Lourdes, the last book of the trilogy.

In 2024, he acted in the American film Den of Thieves 2 alongside Gerard Butler and filmed the lead role in the SKY series Piedone lo sbirro, inspired by the films of the famous actor Bud Spencer.

Currently, Salvatore Esposito is filming the movie Maserati with Anthony Hopkins and Andy García, promoting his latest book Las brujas de Lourdes, and working on new film and television projects.
