Raúl Tejón

1975, Getafe, Madrid

From an early age, theatre has formed a part of his life; in primary and high school, and also at university, where he stopped seeing it as a hobby and began to consider it as his true vocation in life.

After completing two university degrees and making some appearances on television, he auditioned for Romeo and Juliet in which its director, Paco Suárez gave him the opportunity for his first leading role in theatre. It was for this reason that he decided to begin his training as an actor which he did so in the studio of Juan Carlos Corazza. From there he made the jump to television.

Series such as Al Salir de Clase and Ana y Los Siete gave him an introduction to a wider audience. Later came involvement on other series such as Yo Soy Bea, Hospital Central, Amar en Tiempos Revueltos and Bandolera, combining his work on all of them with work on theatre projects such as Shakespeare’s Tempest, Sé infield y no Midas con Quien and Mario Benedetti’s Pedro y el Capitán, amongst others.

His work on film can’t be forgotten and Raúl has participated in various feature films, including: Emilio Martinez Lázaro’s La Voz de su Amor; Alvaro Fernández Armero’s Salir Pitando; and Miguel Alcantud’s Cruzados. In 2013 Raùl also featured on cinema screens in Miguel Alcantud’s Diamantes Negros.

In 2014 he joins La Dama Boba cast, with Miguel Narros and shoots El legionario directed by Eduardo H. Garza, participating too in the successful TV Series La que se avecina (Telecinco).
In 2015 he comes back on stage in two different pieces. He stars in Héroes directed by Antonio Hernández Centeno and also in Iván-off by José Mastret. In 2016 he participates in the series El Caso on TVE as well as La verdad on Telecinco. The following year he works in the third season of the FOX series Vis a Vis and in TVE’s El Continental. In 2019 he joins the cast of Caronte, the series on Telecinco starring Roberto Álamo and Miriam Giovanelli.

In 2020 he shoots the Netflix series Alma. This is followed by the recording of Sin límites for Amazon Prime Video. In 2022 he starts the Netflix series Machos alfa, which has released its fourth season in 2025. His last television project is Gracias equipo, also for Netflix.
His most recent feature films are the romantic comedy ¿Quién quiere casarse con un astronauta?, the second movie by David Matamoros, and Uno equis dos, directed by Alberto Utrera. In 2025 he shoots K. , his first movie as a director.
