With a wealth of experience in both theater and audiovisuals, she has accumulated over 30 theater performances throughout her career. She has worked under the direction of Mario Gas, Gerardo Vera, Helena Pimenta, José Sanchis Sinisterra, Alfredo Sanzol, Javier García Yagüe, and many others, starring in significant plays such as Macbeth, Life is a Dream, The Dog in the Manger, Daughter of the Air, Cyrano, Tales of the Plague, The Brothers Karamazov, The Idiot, and more. In March 2023, the television adaptation of the play Malvivir premiered on La 2 es teatro, in which the actress had been working and received numerous accolades. This version was directed by Itziar Garzón, and Marta co-stars alongside Aitana Sánchez-Gijón. In 2025 she plays the role of Carmina in Historia de una escalera, directed by Helena Pimenta, Orestíada, directed by Ernesto Caballero and La aventura de la palabra, directed by Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente. In 2026 she takes his lead again to play El jardín de los cerezos.
In cinema, she has been honored with a Biznaga de Plata for her supporting role in the film Casting, directed by Jorge Naranjo. In 2016, she was part of the cast of the suspense film La punta del iceberg by David Cánovas. In 2021, she starred in El sustituto, a police action movie directed by Óscar Aibar. Her most recent works are Viento Sur and Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin.
In television, she is part of the acclaimed series Antidisturbios, and has also worked in dozens of productions, standing out for her leading roles in Mercado Central, La pecera de Eva, and Impares. She has played Eider Ulloa, Argos, in the series Servir y Proteger on RTVE, and has participaed in Tú también lo harías for Disney+. Her most recent television projects are the series 4 Estrellas and Asuntos Internos, both for RTVE.
