From a very young age, Carles Francino showed an interest in acting, beginning his training at the Nancy Tuñón Studio in Barcelona, where he studied for six years. At the same time, he specialized in various techniques with professionals such as Esteve Rovira, Néstor Buzo, and Montse Prats. During this period, he combined his studies with his first professional projects, appearing in short films and TV movies such as Gàbies d’Or and María i Assou for Televisió de Catalunya.

He made his big screen debut in Yo soy la Juani, directed by Bigas Luna, and later appeared in films such as Tengo ganas de ti, directed by Fernando González Molina, and Pasaje al amanecer, the directorial debut of Andreu Castro. In recent years, he has starred in films like L’Àvia i el Foraster, directed by Sergi Miralles, También esto pasará, directed by María Ripoll, or El Rastre del Llop, directed by Ángeles Hernández, establishing a steady presence in contemporary Spanish cinema. His most recent projects are Caballé, directed by Patricia Ortega, and La fiera, directed by Salvador Calvo.

Carles rose to national fame on television thanks to his role in Hospital Central. Since then, he has appeared in numerous series such as Punta escarlata, Bandolera, Víctor Ros, Las chicas del cable, Días Mejores, and Operación Marea Negra. In 2025, he premieres the series Mar Afuera for Atresplayer, appears in the second season of Vintage for 3Cat and takes part in Pubertat for HBO Max. In 2026 he shoots the second season of Física o química for Atresplayer.

In theatre, he has worked under the direction of renowned figures such as Lluís Pascual in Mòbil, Raúl Tejón in El huerto de guindos, and Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente in Un marido ideal. He also stands out for his performance in El Sirviente, alongside Eusebio Poncela and Pablo Rivero, directed by Mireia Gabilondo.
