Carla Derkas

Carla Derkas is an actress who initially trained at the Nancy Tuñón and Jordi Oliver School, where acting is conceived as a living training process in constant evolution. Her creative drive is born from a deep need for expression, from the search for truth, and from the possibility of transformation that each character offers. She understands acting not only as a profession, but as a way of connecting with life and of understanding the world.

Her theatre career includes works such as Tempestad by William Shakespeare with the Al dente company, Sin rodeos, Falaris directed by Marc Vidal, and La chica de la lámpara directed by Pepa Fluvià. Her most recent production is Todos menos Jack, which she directs and performs alongside Carlos Alcaide.

In the television field, she has taken part in series such as La que se avecina for Telecinco, Com si fos ahir for 3Cat, and Matices for SkyShowtime, developing her on-camera experience based on listening and authenticity.

She has also been involved in projects such as Metanoia, a short film directed by Rubén Suarez, or the radio programme Carla te cuida, in which she stands out for her expressive naturalness.
