Albert Salazar studied at the Escola d’Art Dramàtic Eòlia and at the Laura Jou Estudi Per a l’Actor in Barcelona. He began his acting career with several short films and soon gained great popularity on Catalan television.

In film, he has taken part in several notable productions. His first major role was in El crédito, directed by Abel Folk and Joan Riedweg in 2020. This was followed by Los pájaros no vuelan de noche, directed by Albert and Pau Sansa Pac in 2020. Hos most recet film is El cautivo, directed by Alejandro Amenábar, released in 2026.

On television, one of his most important roles was in La Riera, for 3cat, where he played Marçal between 2015 and 2017. He also appeared in Drama, for 3cat in 2020, and in El internado: Las cumbres, for Amazon Prime Video, where he portrayed Paul Uribe between 2021 and 2023. In 2023, he took part in Bojos per Molière, for 3cat, and Todas las veces que nos enamoramos, for Netflix. In 2025, he premieres Jo mai mai on 3cat, and in 2026 he joins the third season of the series Breathless, directed by Carlos Montero for Netflix.

In theatre, he stood out for his performance in Columbine at Sun, directed by Jorge-Yamam Serrano in 2015. In 2016, he performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, adapted by Deisy Portaluppi and directed by Iván Morales, and in Paradise, produced by Nico&Sunset. That same year, he was also part of Purpurina, directed by Oriol Vila. In 2018, he was recognized with the Best Actor award at the 22nd edition of the Premios Max for his performance in A.K.A. (Also Known As), directed by Daniel Meyer. Other stage works include Pols de diamant, directed by Nelson Valente in 2023, Cacophony, directed by Anna Serrano Gatell, and L’herència, directed by Josep Maria Mestres, both in 2024. His most recent production is Germans de sang, directed by Daniel Anglès in 2025.
